About The GentleMax Pro Plus® Laser Device

The GentleMax Pro Plus is Candela’s premier laser hair removal device. It uses two targeted wavelengths that not only efficiently accomplish laser hair removal over a series of treatments, but also treats a broad range of skin types and indications.1-3

The 755 nm wavelength on the GentleMax Pro Plus is designed to treat lighter skin types (Fitzpatrick Skin Types I-III) while the 1064 nm wavelength is ideal for darker skin types (Types IV-VI).1 From the lightest to the darkest skin types, the platform is designed to provide efficient laser hair removal and does so with the utmost in skin protection. The device, like all Gentle line products by Candela, has a Dynamic Cooling Device (DCD™) that can be customized to spray a cooling mist of cryogen on the skin before or after each laser pulse.3 This cooling spray, called GentleCool Pro Plus™, protects the epidermis and keeps the treatment comfortable.
