About The Speakers

Dr. Didac Barco is a Dermatologist from Barcelona (Spain). He holds a Master’s Degree in Aesthetic Dermatology from the University of Alcalá de Henares and in Lasers and Photomedicine from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. His passion for laser therapy and for the treatment of scars has led him to do stages in the United Kingdom (Aberdeen’s Royal Infirmary Hospital) and the United States of America (Chicago’s Northwestern University Hospital and New York’s Mount Sinahi Hospital). Dr. Barco is a guest lecturer at world-renowned congresses, such as 5CC or IMCAS, a teacher at the University of Alcalá de Henares in Madrid, and at the University Cardenal Herrera in Valencia, both for Master’s degrees for Dermatologists. He is author of national and international scientific publications and book chapters on laser therapies for scars. In addition, Dr. Barco holds online courses for Dermatologists in Spain and Latin America, and coordinates their observership stages at Corium Dermatology (Barcelona).

Dr. med. Cordula Ahnhudt-Franke is a Consultant Dermatologist with a PhD from the Department of Dermatology, Charité, Berlin. Dr. Ahnhudt-Franke specialized in Aesthetic Dermatology and Laser Medicine and has been running her mySkin practice in Mallorca, Spain since 2002. She is a member of several medical and aesthetic societies both in Europe and the USA, such as Academía Espanola de Dermatología y Venerología (AEDV), Deutsche Dermatologische Gesellschaft (DDG), Deutsche Dermatologische Lasergesellschaft (DDL), American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine (AAAM) , Asociación Medicina estética de Islas Baleares (AMEIB), Deutsche Gesellschaft für Ästhetische Botulinumtoxin-Therapie (DGBT), Deutscher Fachjournalisten-Verband (DFJV) , European Society of Cosmetic and Aesthetic Dermatology (ESCAD), International Society of Dermatology (ISD), Sociedad Espanola de Medicina y Cirugía Cosmética (SEMCC) and European Society for Lasers and Energy-Based Devices (ESLD).

Angel Green BSN, RN is Sr. Director, Global Clinical Operations at Candela. With nearly 15 years of aesthetic nursing experience, Angel prides herself in improving patient lives utilizing Candela devices. Her aesthetic career began in plastic surgery using laser and energy based devices, where she quickly discovered her passion for teaching and education. This inspired her to join Candela as a clinical educator, later serving as Director of Clinical Education. In her current role as Global Clinical Operations Director, she enjoys collaborating on new product development to bring the most innovative devices, protocols and research to the market, always supporting Candela’s providers and their patients.
