Candela seeks a Senior Product Manager who will be responsible for driving the Global Marketing Strategy, New Product Initiatives, and Lifecycle Management for Surgical Aesthetics portfolio for the several of the products
The successful person will drive New Product initiatives by working cross-functionally to assess the global marketplace, to identify new opportunities and market requirements, and to develop differentiated products. Work with NPI Project Management to ensure that all marketing and business deliverables are effectively provided to project teams as part of stage-gate PLM process.
- Orchestrate the global launch and commercialization of new products
- Develop unique value proposition, positioning, messaging and creative concepts
- Consume market research reports and projects to identify and track trends in Aesthetics
- Produce competitive analysis and analyzes and tracks industry trends on a regular basis
- Monitors Market Dynamics, Competition and current product lifecycles and adjusts roadmaps, positioning, messaging, and pricing accordingly, to drive continued growth of responsible products.
- Ensures product quality is maintained at the highest standards by monitoring performance KPIs and working with Operations and Engineering teams as necessary.
- Work with R&D team to discover, define and build new product pipeline for next generation products to ensure future growth and innovation.
- Develop, design and promote patient and HCP marketing material to support the launch and growth of the Surgical Aesthetics business
- Prepare and deliver field sales training and marketing presentations
- Partner with Clinical lead, Regulatory lead and R&D team to drive post market studies to expand treatment indications
- Develop, design and implement measurable strategies and tactics to drive significant and profitable year over year growth of product line
- Developing and executing a portfolio and pricing strategy in the Surgical Aesthetics segment that grow Candela’s revenue faster than the market and improves profitability
- Work with the regional commercial teams to develop effective regional strategies for existing business, new products, and business development opportunities.
- Develop the annual marketing business plan in alignment with corporate strategies and sales objectives
- Develop and deliver sales enablement tools focused on clinical benefits, competitive strengths and differentiation and ROI realization.
- Develop new and deepen existing KOL relationships
- Manage product marketing budget to stay within designated program spend
Background required for this role:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in marketing, business management, healthcare administration strongly preferred (would consider candidate in engineering with demonstrated marketing acumen); MBA preferred
- Minimum of 5 to 7 yrs. marketing experience
- Experience with Aesthetic device/drugs (strongly preferred), Medical device, biotechnology industry and/or healthcare marketing.
- Experience launching new, innovative products on global basis which requires change in clinical practice, market development and market access
- Prior extensive experience in Marketing/Business Plan development & execution, distribution channels, planning, forecasting, monitoring market share, developing and executing growth strategy, M&A target evaluation and associated due diligence and customer satisfaction and measurement against P&L goals. Should have an ability to establish systems to measure success of all programs.
- 2+ years of Global marketing experience with Corporate budget management responsibility (revenues & expenses) with a heavy emphasis on lifecycle management, product development, portfolio planning, market strategy, market segmentation and tactical execution. Proven track record of achievement and successful product launches
