Candela seeks an experienced Senior Software Engineer for one or more laser and energy-based products sold to Dermatologists, Plastic Surgeons, and other aesthetic physician practices.
As a part of your work, you will be empowered and inspired to design and develop SW infrastructures and GUI for aesthetic medical device products. You will explore and learn new technologies, work on DevOps automation, SW security, IoT connectivity and manufacturing tools.
The position requires an understanding of multidisciplinary system areas and close cross functional relationships with system architects, HW, product and UX/UI teams.
What Are We Looking For?
BSc/MSc in software, computer or related engineering degree.
At least 5 + years’ experience in developing complex multi-threaded desktop application using C# .NET and the following GUI technologies: WinForms/WPF/HTML.
Good interpersonal skills and able to work as a team player.
Experience documenting SW requirements and design according to ISO/FDA and other regulatory requirements.
Ability to understand and resolve problems at both system and code levels.
Advantage for the following:

Experience in design/development of complex medical device SW is a big plus.

Experience working in a Linux environment with C# and .NET Core.

Experience with SW security, web services, databases or IoT SW solutions.

Experience working with HW devices / Electronic cards.
