Job Brief

Logistics:

• Responsible for warehousing, asset management, and distribution functions countrywide.
• Implement costs reduction to achieve targets
• Manage inbound and outbound shipment. Monitor shipment status and communicate to 3PL for device safety arrival.
• Establish a system of parts mastering and management.
• Manage 3PL, according to corporation policy in terms of cost, speed and consistency, work closely with 3PL. Monitor and report 3PL performance.
• Select and manage third party service providers to ensure company needs, costs, and performance objectives are met.
• Establish performance metrics for all critical processes and report these to all concerned parties regularly.

Customs:

• Build up effective communication with customs, keep a good relationship with government authorities
• Monitor customs daily operations, especially the emergency to ensure all inbound & outbound shipments are delivery on time and meet the goals of KPI
• Follow up & put in place of any latest policy /regulation published by the customs;
• Initiate the cost saving on customs affairs

Knowledge/Educational Requirements

• Bachelor degree or above
• Fluent in English
• 3 years logistics and ocean, truck, freight forwarding, contracting or operations experience involving consolidation, route
• Working knowledge about international trade and material flow constraints
• Strong skills in logistics cost analysis, network design and optimization, performance measurement reporting and problem solving
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
